A porcelain chocolate pot with a lid and side handle. Cylindrical form, turquoise green (Seegrün) ground reserved with two quatrefoils painted with scenes of figures in the landscape. Gilt edges; similar decoration on the lid. Richly gilt spout and handle with relief design. The shape of this porcelain pot is based on the silver and copper pots that were used to serve hot chocolate.
